Many of the communal staircases (known locally as closes) in Glasgow’s traditional sandstone tenements are lined with tiles to make it easier to keep them clean. While most of these tiles are relatively plain, some are beautiful works of art. These fridge magnets feature four particularly fine examples. Each magnet is 6.5 cm by 6.5 cm, and features a high-quality laminated print of an individual vintage tile from a Glasgow tenement.
