Tenement Tile 3 Greetings Card (14.8 cm by 14.8 cm)

£3.00

The many of the closes (or communal stairwells) of Glasgow’s iconic Victorian and Edwardian tenements are lined with tiles to make them easier to keep clean. While most are relatively plain, others  are highly decorative and feature what can only be described as little works of art. This is particularly true of those from the Art Nouveau period towards the end of the 1800s. This card features one of the best examples of such tiles from the surviving tenements of Glasgow.

The card is square (14.8cm by 14.8cm) and is blank inside so you can add your own message, and it comes with its own white envelope.

This card is also available as part of a pack of four tenement tile greetings cards, and as part of a set of eight.

This photograph is also available as as either a small or a large mounted print.
