Standing at the corner of Argyle Street, St Vincent Street and Elliot Street in the Anderston area of Glasgow, this is the only public statue Charles Rennie Mackintosh, the city’s most famous architect. Created by the Scottish sculptor Andy Scott, it was unveiled in December 2018, on the 90th anniversary of Mackintosh’s death. This photograph was taken late one evening with the light from the setting sun reflecting off the usually green statue, turning it to gold.
