The winter sun rising directly behind the Science Mall of the Glasgow Science Centre complex on Pacific Quay in Glasgow. Opened in 2001, it is built on the site of the 1988 Glasgow Garden festival, which itself was constructed on the remains of the Prince’s Dock, once the largest dock on the upper Clyde. This photograph was taken by Colin M/. Drysdale from Pointhouse Quay on the northern bank of the Clyde, and now home to the Riverside Museum.
