6. Sunrise On Pacific Quay

Index    Previous   Next

Sunrise behind the buildings of Pacific Quay in Glasgow. These include the BBC Scotland building, the Glasgow Science Centre and the Glasgow Tower. The Glasgow Tower was designed to be the tallest building in the city, and the tallest fully-rotating structure in the world. It initially suffered from a variety of problems meaning that at first it was unable to rotate, but these issues have now been fixed. This photograph was taken by Colin M. Drysdale from Pointhouse Quay on the opposite side of the Clyde.
